Dr. Sorooshian graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 2008 and joined our department the following year.
He is the faculty advisor for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and is also an advisor on the Graduate Student Advisory Group (GSAG).
His research focuses on aerosol particles, which interact with radiation and act as cloud condensation nuclei (CCN), affording them the ability to influence cloud microphysics, planetary albedo, and the hydrologic cycle.
